Book Your Appointment Online
You book through the Hint Health patient portal (opens in a new tab) . New patients book a 60-minute initial consultation and treatment plan ($500). Ongoing care continues through a $250 per month membership that includes your follow-up visits. Your confirmation and intake forms are sent through Hint Health.
Complete Your Intake & Lab Work
Before your visit, you complete an intake questionnaire covering your health history, current medications, and symptoms. If lab work is needed, you visit a local lab in your Montana community, and Dr. Twist reviews the results before or during your appointment. This answers a common question: yes, some first visits include labs.
Your Telehealth Appointment With Dr. Twist
Your appointment is a secure, HIPAA-compliant video visit that takes place right inside your Hint Health patient portal, with no separate app or Zoom link to download. New patient visits run a full 60 minutes. Dr. Twist reviews your labs, discusses your symptoms, answers your questions, and explains your options. You drive the conversation, this is a real medical consultation, not a chatbot.
Receive Your Care Plan & Prescriptions
After your visit, Dr. Twist sends a personalized care plan by secure message and any prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy. Follow-up visits are scheduled as needed, often every three to six months for hormone management. The prescription management page explains how refills work.
Is Telehealth Right for Your Care?
Telehealth is an excellent fit for hormone and menopause care, because so much of this work is built on history, conversation, lab review, and prescription management rather than hands-on procedures. Through video visits, secure messaging, and coordination with local Montana labs, Dr. Twist can evaluate symptoms, order and interpret testing, prescribe and adjust therapy, and monitor your progress over time. There are limits, and she is honest about them. If you need a physical exam, imaging, an in-office procedure, or obstetric or surgical care, those require in-person services, and Dr. Twist will help coordinate a referral to the right provider near you. For the large majority of menopause and hormone needs, though, virtual care delivers the same medical depth as an office visit, without the hours of driving that Montana distances usually demand.
