About Wild Women Medicine
Wild Women Medicine is a physician-led telehealth gynecology and menopause practice serving women across Montana. Dr. Laura Twist, a board-certified OB/GYN, provides hormone care, HRT, and prescription services entirely by video.
Dr. Twist sees women in Montana at any stage of the menopause transition: perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. She also provides women’s health consultations and second opinions, and new patients are welcome.
Wild Women Medicine currently serves women in Montana only. Dr. Twist holds a Montana medical license, so patients must be physically located in Montana at the time of their appointment.
About Virtual Visits
You book through the Hint Health portal, complete a short intake, and join a secure video visit with Dr. Twist. She reviews your history, discusses your goals, and sends prescriptions to your pharmacy.
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, plus reliable internet. Your visit happens inside the Hint Health patient portal, with no separate app or Zoom link to download.
Yes. Wild Women Medicine uses an asynchronous care model. Between visits you can message Dr. Twist through the Hint Health portal.
Yes. Dr. Twist can order lab work as part of your care. You visit a local lab in your Montana community, and she reviews the results at your follow-up or by secure message.
About HRT and Prescriptions
Yes. After a full evaluation, Dr. Twist can prescribe hormone replacement therapy and send it electronically to your preferred pharmacy. She prescribes estrogen, progesterone, and bioidentical options based on your needs.
Yes. Dr. Twist welcomes patients already on HRT who need ongoing management and refills. She reviews your current regimen at your initial consultation and continues or adjusts it as appropriate.
Yes. Testosterone is one of the hormones Dr. Twist may include in hormone therapy, and she also addresses it in sexual wellness care where low libido is the main concern.
About Pricing and Insurance
Wild Women Medicine is a membership practice and does not bill insurance. You pay a $500 initial fee, then a $250 monthly membership. Some HSA or FSA accounts may apply; check with your administrator.
Care begins with a $500 initial consultation and treatment plan, then $250 per month. Membership covers ongoing visits, typically every 6 to 12 weeks, and messaging with Dr. Twist.
The membership model lets Dr. Twist spend more time with each patient and make clinical decisions without insurance constraints. It also means no pre-authorizations, no claim denials, and no surprise bills.
Getting Started
No referral is needed. Any woman located in Montana can book directly through the patient portal and begin care without waiting on a referral from another provider.
